“Made at” names the station that can make each ingredient, and the line under it is the actual recipe (inputs → yield, ticks); “no producing row” means the recipe, alchemy mix and crop tables all come up empty — you gather, hunt, buy or loot it instead.
Fuel is not something you carry: nothing in the game hands you a stack of it — you put Firewood into a Firewood shed and the shed supplies the workbenches in its zone (the shed window carries that instruction line).

How do you make Supply: Iron?
Two recipes pack the same box. Woodworking Workbench I or II: 6 Iron Ingot + 4 Board + 8 Bronze Nails, 8 ticks — this is the one the Iron Forge research unlocks. Assembly bench I, II or III: 8 Iron Ingot, 10 ticks, with no research of its own, because the bench is the gate. The workbench recipe trades 2 ingots for 4 Board and 8 Bronze Nails, so it is the cheaper of the two once those are flowing.
Where does the iron come from?
Iron Ingot, smelted two ways: 3 Iron Ore + 30 Fuel makes 3 ingots at Furnace II (12 ticks, unlocked by the same Iron Forge research), or 1 Iron Ore + 1 Coal makes 1 ingot at Smithy I or II (8 ticks). The ore itself is mined — the nodes, the Zombie Miner and the Trademaster's stock are on the mining page.
Which orders ask for Supply: Iron?
Jack's two: a tier 1 order for 1 box that pays 20 Likes and is taken once, and a tier 2 order for 5 boxes that pays 10 Likes and can be taken again. A box stacks 1 per slot, so the second order is five inventory slots of cargo. The full list, with every trader, is on the town orders page.
Is the box used for anything else?
Nothing. No recipe in the build consumes it and no building costs it — the orders are the whole answer, which is why this page prints them instead of a recipe list.
I delivered the box but the order has not paid out — why?
The order window runs on the week. The game's own tutorial says town orders can only be accepted on Pride day and that the goods go to the Town Warehouse. The “Workshop Hours” objective says to fulfill orders and then talk to Jack at that warehouse. Players in the r/GraveyardKeeper “Iron Supply” thread report that a delivery made mid-week may need the next cycle before the hand-in registers (read 2026-09-24).
