Iron mine and quarry work in Graveyard Keeper 2 runs on two sources: the breakable objects you hit by hand (the build names almost none of them, so they are grouped here by what they drop and how many hits they take) and the zombie digger stations that make the same materials without you standing there. This page prints the numbers for both, plus the build cost of every building in the mining zones.
By hand: the breakable nodes
35 objects drop mineral materials, in 16 groups. An empty name column means the game ships no name for that object — this page does not invent one.

By zombie: the digger stations
3 stations produce materials; 4 more in the same zones are hauling and supply stations with no recipe of their own. One batch takes 8 ticks.

The buildings of the three mining zones
The zone names are the game’s own field (Zombie Mine, Quarry, Zombie Digging) and they hold 18 buildings in total. Chests are storage; the porter stations move the output.

What iron ore turns into
The build has 3 recipes that take iron ore (base price 100); the ingots then feed iron details, nails and steel goods. The full list lives on the metal recipes page.

Frequently asked questions
Where do I get iron ore?
Two ways: break the ore veins by hand (hp 5 objects that drop 3 plus the Mining talent) or build a Zombie Miner (4 Wooden Plank + Brick) and let it produce 1 Iron Ore + 2 Coal every 8 ticks.
How do I unlock zombie mining?
Build the Zombie Miner station in the Zombie Mine zone (4 Wooden Plank + Brick) and put a zombie on it; the same zone has a Porter Station to haul the output. The Zombie Digging zone (clay, sand) and the Quarry (stone, marble) each have their own set.
How much does one node give?
Stone piles give 1–2, marble and sand ×4, iron veins 3 plus the Mining talent, and the copper vein adds a gem to its copper nuggets. The table lists every drop with the hit points it takes.
Do the nodes respawn?
The build has no field for it, so this page does not claim either way. What it does show is that the zombie digger stations produce continuously — one batch every 8 ticks — so you do not have to wait for a node.
What is iron ore used for?
Iron ore smelts into Iron Ingots at a furnace or smithy, and those become iron details, nails, steel goods and tools. The last table lists every recipe in the build that takes iron ore.
Where this comes from, and what it does not say
Drops, hit points and object counts come from the game’s own breakable-object drop table; a name is printed only when the game ships one.
Station output and batch time come from the recipe table; build costs come from the building table (a station row has no cost of its own — it is joined from the building that places it).
Whether nodes respawn and where they sit on the world map have no field in the game data, so neither is claimed here; both would need an in-game measurement.
This page covers 1.004.2; the counts (35 objects, 3+4 stations, 18 buildings, 3 iron-ore recipes) all equal the rows the page prints.
